About the Taster
Start with the basics as you take your first steps in tango. The experienced teachers will guide you through their level one programme, covering:
● The open embrace
● Dancing in three directions
● Dissociation
● Rebound
● Changing direction
It may all seem like double dutch to you now but after three classes, you’ll have made some real progress.

What to Bring
Wear something comfortable. Women should wear shoes with a heel. And men should steer clear of trainers as they make some moves difficult.

A dance company that offer different styles of Latin dance, OkTango specialises in Argentine tango. Their goal is to attract a younger generation to enjoy tango, and to capture them they have introduced their own variation, Roktango (tango to modern music) which has never been done before.
