Looking for a great way to get fit with some healthy competition thrown in? Look no further than squash and racketball. Two very similar sports, both involve hitting a ball off the walls of a court, using cunning deflections to defeat your opponent. In racketball the ball and racket are a little bigger but both are fast, furious and great fun. And with plenty of clubs to join and no shortage of opponents, it’s also a great way to meet new people.

About the Taster
Five supervised evenings for squash club members and TasterLab users and membership to England Squash and Racketball (ESR) for a year. During the sessions both racketball and squash are played and someone is always there to greet you and make sure you get started and are welcomed into the session. All abilities from beginner to experienced players join in and coaches are on hand to help should it be required, although the emphasis is on getting people playing and having fun.
England Squash and Racketball membership includes exclusive discounts and offers from leading high street brands, eligibility to play in all ESR competitions and events, plus three copies of Squash Player magazine.

All you need is some trainers with non-marking soles, everything else will be provided, free of charge.

The Woodford Wells Club is one of the Home Counties' premier private members’ sports clubs with 1,500 members. Facilities include two cricket pitches, occasional grass hockey pitches, 11 all-weather tennis courts (seven artificial grass and four acrylic), four squash courts and an indoor sports hall for short tennis, table tennis, short mat bowls and keep fit. The club also has two Petanque Pistes for the use of members.
