Latin dance class - throwing on your dancing shoes and heading out to one has to be one of the best ways to give your hips a good workout in London. No matter the weather outside, you can be assured the heat will be on in a Latin dance class as you learn moves from the rumba to the cha-cha-cha. Latin dancing is great for even the most inexperienced dancer - as long as you can shake your hips, you'll be just fine. Classes are also super social so prepare to meet a whole host of new friends.

About the Taster
With classes catering for complete beginners, improvers and intermediates, unless you’re a real pro, you’ll find a level to suit you. Barry Gordon, a seasoned Latin dance professional, guides you through the steps, breaking the dance down to its individual elements to make things easier for you. Latin dancing encompasses a lot of different styles, so you'll be exposed to many types of dance from an assortment of cultures. You won’t need to bring a partner as you will switch partners between the group as the class goes on (but feel free to bring someone along), meeting new people and having a great time as you go.

Even the worst dancer can enjoy a Latin dance class. The steps aren't complicated, and the environment is energetic and social - a great place to really let loose after a stressful day. And six classes means you'll really be able to work up through the levels, and the fun definitely increases with the difficulty.
Times Available
Classes are held every Monday night from 6.30-7.30pm for beginners, 7.30-8.30pm for improvers, and 8.30-9.30pm for intermediates.

Barry Gordon has been teaching salsa and ballroom dancing since 2008 on top of having a glittering career as a professional dancer. He has won numerous dance competitions, appeared on television, in films and most recently danced alongside Diversity for the TV show Got to Dance. Trained to teach over 30 different dances, you’re sure to benefit from his wealth of dancing experience.
