The Lowdown

Saxophone - the coolest of the brass instruments. You play it by blowing through the reed in the mouthpiece. Like with most brass and woodwind instruments, the first challenge you will face during saxophone lessons is your blowing technique. It looks easy for the experts, but it can take a little while to learn how to actually get a noise out of thing. But once you’ve mastered that, you’re well on your way. Whether you want to play in an orchestra, jazz quartet, rock band or as a solo artist, saxophone lessons will equip you for every eventuality. What you play on it is up to you and will probably depend on how many saxophone classes you’ve had.

The Crowd

From the rock stylings of recently departed E-Street Band member Clarence Clemons, to the jazz of Charlie Parker, the saxophone is a versatile instrument. Even Bill Clinton plays one! OK, maybe scrap that last bit - Lisa Simpson would be a better inspiration.

The Cost

London is a great place to try something new and learn a new instrument. Obviously, a saxophone is an investment (starting around £200) so it’s best to figure out whether you like the instrument or not before you buy your own. A saxophone will be provided for you at your TasterLab taster sax lessons, so no worries!

And Finally…

The ultimate inspiration to achieve all of your saxophone dreams - the Sexy Sax Man.  Maybe you too can be this talented (and sexy) after some saxophone lessons.
