Flight Simulator
Flight simulator - experience the skies without leaving the ground.
At a glance:
● Unique experience
● Career switch
● Great fun
The Lowdown
A flight simulator is the closest most of us get to flying a real plane. A cross between a real cockpit and an arcade game, these state-of-the-art pieces of technology can replicate every aspect of the flying experience. Flight simulators can be programmed for any route you like, it’s like being in charge of your own Boeing 747 but without all those passengers to worry about. Within the cockpit all the dials, knobs and switches serve the same purpose as in a real aircraft, making it an authentic flying experience without leaving the ground.
The Crowd
A flight simulator will be best known for its appearance on the gameshow, the Krypton Factor to those of a certain vintage, but technology has moved on a long way since then. As well as being one of those really different things to do in London, there is a serious side to the fun. Flight simulators aren’t just overgrown video games, they form an integral part of any pilot’s training regime. So if you think flying might be for you, this is a great, risk-free way of trying it out.
The Cost
Our TasterLab tasters will give you a great deal on flight simulator sessions. After that the sky could be the limit if you decide to go into flying for real.
And Finally...
Here’s latin singing sensation Ricky Martin having a go in a 737 flight simulator to give you an idea of what you’re in for.
