Badminton is one of those traditional British sports that everyone should try at least once. Sort of like tennis, the idea is to pass the shuttlecock over the net until it touches the floor and a point is earned. It's a great way to get or stay fit for those who prefer a little competition in their workout versus typical weights and cardio, and it can be played all year - indoors and outdoors.
